If you’re surprised to have arrived at my website while doing a search for something completely unrelated to my blog, you’re not the only one. My Coppermine photo gallery was hacked, and around 300 pretend web pages were added to a directory that didn’t exist before the hacker(s) got in, using this vulnerability:

Coppermine is a multi-purpose fully-featured and integrated web picture gallery script written in PHP using GD or ImageMagick as image library with a MySQL backend.
It is free software (released under GNU GPL) which you can download and install on your webspace.
Coppermine comes with 9 pre-installed themes (templates). Many additional free themes can be found online.
