Tonight Michael and I met up with some of my friends–Tim and Brenda, Sara and her boyfriend Tony, Laurel, as well as a few of Laurel’s friends–at Milwaukee’s Cathedral Square Jazz in the Park. We sat on the packed lawn, catching up, eating and drinking, and listening to music.

Before going to his dad’s, Owen finished his Nintendo DS game The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. I watched him finish and watched the end credits and game finale with him. He was very very proud. Yay Owen!

My mom was in town, so Owen and I spent a good part of the day with her and her good friend, Judy. We ate at a Mexican restaurant near home, and went to Judy’s house afterwards. The highlight for Owen was playing with Judy’s four cats.

This morning Michael and I got a little exercising in while the kids played in Prime Time at the Y. Afterwards we headed to the Bucyrus Open House in South Milwaukee. We toured the plant, walked around, listened to music, and Mike, Rebecca, and Lindsay tried the rock climbing wall.
