Birthday parties

Today we celebrated Lindsay’s 7th birthday and Grandma Anne’s birthday at Michael’s parent’s home. The neat thing was, Michael and I had bought a present for Lindsay, hidden it, and he’d driven it over to their home the night before, so she wouldn’t accidentally see it before we gave it to her.
We had a great time at the party. Michael’s brother’s family as well as aunt and uncle came. We had a delicious late brunch, played lots of games outside, and did two rounds of Happy Birthday. Many candles were blown out. The weather was beautiful, so we did most of everything outside.
When it came time for Lindsay to open her presents, she did so with gusto as usual. She got lots of wonderful things that I’m sure will entertain her for the next year to come. At opening her last present, she saw we’d gotten her some streamers you could put in the end of a bike’s handlebars. She was really excited about these, and said she’d put them in her brother’s old bike. On that cue, her grandpa told her he thought there was something for her over in the garage, and she should walk over and take a look.
She walked over, as did most of the guests. When he opened the garage, she saw a big new pink girl bike inside, topped with a bow and her bike helmet. It was really neat seeing how excited she was. After getting over the fact that it’s a little taller than bikes she’s been riding on, she loved it. It has 6 gears and hand brakes, two things she’s not used to, but she got the hang of both really quickly. The bike’s a little big for her, but by next Spring it should be perfect, as she’s growing like a weed!

I love birthday parties, because it’s an occasion to show how much we love them and we care for them.
The last time we are not celebrate birthdaysd. It’s a great feeling if you celebrate.
Don’ t worry about getting a big bike for her. Kids now a days grow really fast. Before you know it, she’ll be asking for a real car. My 2 year old daughter is really growing fast. Hope we have a time machine where we can freeze the time and just enjoy the moment with them

i need it big enough for about 30 people. Her birthday is in June, I would like to have it outside but Im a little scared about having to worry about weather conditions so would really prefer a small banquet room, or somewhere especially designed for hosting childrens parties,

Thanks for sharing your secrets.
It is really fun in celebrating children birthday because they would really appreciate the gifts although it is simple. when i was young I always look forward for my birthday because I am excited for the gifts and I want something new. I am excited too, because I have to play with many children. It is really a lot of fun being a child because you do not have to worry of everything, instead you just think of the fun you would experience. I wish I were a child so that I will not worry too much.
